Movies, tv shows reviews and comment, etc...

Post by Ash on Wed Jun 04, 2008 7:52 am

...

Watched the most recent ghost hunters episode tonight ..scared the cr*p out of me, since I live alone... haha.

How they can just assume that the spirit they were interacting with isn't " a threat" is really ridiculous. They don't know anything about the afterlife, let alone the intentions or true identity of beings that make themselves known..

But yea, Tell me if this is scary?

I watched that the other night, and am reminded that today is wednesday, hope there is a good one on tonight. This is the only show I set time aside to watch on tv, cant be bothered to remember when most others are on. I assume through years of contact with spirits you do get a sense of whether they are malicious or not. If people are being pushed downstairs, attacked while sleeping

It seems Jay and Grant were trying to reassure the woman there was no danger, to the point where they made assertions they cant really back up. Lets hope they are right! affraid

Personally, I prefer to stay out of the spiritual realm as much as I can. It's bad enough when I'm taken there through prayerful intervention. pp

Okay. I decided to watch that one just out of curiousity... Very interesting the way the investigation goes.

I agree with you though, Ash. These guys assume way too much without really knowing. I am especially mindful that the powers of light and darkness can manifest themselves in different ways, so what they appear to be may not necessarily be what they are.

It also makes me wonder though, whether what I sensed over at Gearld's place could be something like an EMF... which might explain

A) Why the feeling got stronger in his room, but farther out was only a dull throbbing

And
B) Why he seems well when he's away from it.

*sigh* I hate not having a real working knowledge of these kinds of things.

Yeah. Now if only I had one of those nifty little EMF meters. See, I wonder if having long enough term exposure to it could cause people to hear things as Gearld has been telling me. My mind is shifting back into puzzle mode.

Never watched that show, but if yer into outdoors type stuff, I can highly recommend Survivorman. Les Stroud is the man!

What's the show with the British guy that parachutes into remote locations with only a knife and the clothes on his back called? That one is pretty good, imo. The craziest location he ever had to make it out of... was Iceland. Talk about vicious weather and barren landscapes..! dracf light

I actually watched the recent Ghost Hunters tonight and found this weeks episode a bit on the boring side. Still a great show though, imo.

You are thinking of Man vs. Wild I think Ash. Bear Grylls (or something close) is the dude in that one.

Personally, I think Les Stroud owns him, but that may just be me. tongue
