i hear the schools are reaching their limit of foreign students, so from now on it might be harder for a foreigner to study in sweden. also, psychology is a very popular trade here so you have to have extremely good grades to get in over here.
also the whole parents paying for your education is everything that is wrong with your system. if you have to depend on your parents to get into a good school then certain gifted people are doomed to stay poor

to bad... at least over here it's always your own fault if you don't have a good enough education to get a good job.

Here, I guess it's your own fault for not being born to wealthier parents.
I earned a few scholarships and some government money, but I've still got school loans that are gonna be haunting me for a very long time...and I've only got my A.A. Yay, poorhouse!

Re: eating = black metal
Over here the only way you'd have to pay for college is if you wanted to go to a private one.
When you finish secondary school, you do state exams called the Leaving Cert, and as many as 100 points per subject depending on how well you do. You get the points from your best 6 subjects, and college places are allocated depending on how many points you have. If there's a tie for the last place, the person with the highest number(that was assigned before you started) gets the place.
None of it costs a thing

I got double screwed ~ I went to the Uni, then dropped out after a year, then went to a private college and got my AA for more than twice the amout it would have cost to have gotten my BA at the uni; and now I have to pay for both...I do plan on going back to the university at some point, when I can afford to do so again.
