Re: Post your photos
Photos from a twelve hour hike up this mountain in Palm Springs. I have hundreds of pics from this hike (as well as many other hikes and outdoor camping trips), but these are just a few that are available online at the moment.

I like hills an trees... Trees we have here but no such hills

yea.. we have mountains,, not just hills.. but don't you have some nice mountains nearby.. in Switzerland?
i was in Colorado once and went up to over 12,000 feet.. i got real sick from the altitude and threw up for a bit...it sucked.. but once the sickness passed.. it was awesome.

Awesome!
Due to an inner ear disorder, I can't hike, drive, fly in airplanes, ride most roller coasters, or anything much that deals with altitudinal shiftiness or excessive moving...Sadly, this was diagnosed after I had decided to leap over to Italy back in 2005. Constant swirly vision = not so fun.
I'll experience hiking and such vicariously through cool photos.

Re: Post your photos
ha ha to Ash but sorry to hear that from Oddly...i used to go skiing every year in Colorado and Utah but never got sick from the altitude. I got tired or out of breath easier than normal and bags of chips looked like they were going to burst by the time we got to the top of the mountain at the ski resort...but never did I get sick. I miss skiing, I was good at it. But I enjoy physical activities and are adventurous, so that is not too much of a shock.
I definitely want to visit Switzerland sometime soon, as well as Germany. But definitely Switzerland, I am a huge tennis fan and completely adore Federer. (only the swiss or tennis fans will prolly get that).

It was really odd because when I was little, we had gone over to Italy a few times, I loved roller coasters, then all of sudden loud ringing in the ear and swirly vision. Doctors had no idea what was wrong with me, until, ya know...after the 13 hour flights to and from Italy. Good times!
But on the other hand, there is something rather aristocratic about train travel...and many lovely scenery photos *which I should look for and post at some point*.
